DETAILS
The train has a battery drive and magnetic couplers between the individual train parts. There is a permanently coupled unit consisting of a powered end car and a passenger car with a built-in battery holder. The train has 3 speed levels in forward and reverse, 3 sound functions, and triple headlights.
All of this can be controlled with the wireless infrared train controller, the Märklin Power Control Stick designed for children.
In addition, this starter set has building blocks for the Märklin my world elevated railroad. Building the elevated railroad allows the train to go from Level 0 Level 1. The building blocks allow the elevated railroad pillars to be built in different heights, thus producing a grade to take the track to the higher Level 1. The track goes from Level 1 on a descending grade back to Level 0.
